We later watched a match that saw a ten-man side Manchester united brutally bruise Viera’s side to a 2-1 defeat. He asked me why Ten hag and Viera led the team to the stadium with a banquet of flowers and I concluded he’s never heard of the 1958 Munich disaster. We nursed a drink as we watched the game in silence.
